• Injection of Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) ****should be used in advance of females laying unfertilized eggs.
• Additionally the males can be injected with hCG 24 hours before stripping occurs.

Instructions for injection:

Inject axolotl intramuscularly and dorsally with 2 IU of hCG per g of body weight.

*Use 27.5- or 25-gauge needle
